Addiction treatment payment and funding options
At Manor Clinic, we understand that all of our patients are different, with unique needs, requirements and situations. As such, we offer several ways in which treatment can be accessed and funded.
Self-funding
There are many reasons why you may choose to pay to receive treatment at Manor Clinic. It may be because your local NHS provider does not offer the specific addiction treatment that you need, or there is insufficient capacity and long waiting times for treatment. Alternatively, you may simply prefer the peace of mind of receiving rapid access to expert care.
The cost of the treatment that you receive at Manor Clinic depends upon the programme that is deemed as being the most suitable for you, as well as the length of time that you spend with us. Payment can be made by:
- Credit card
- Debit card
- Bank transfer
Depending on your unique circumstances, we may ask for a referral letter from your GP prior to commencing with treatment at Manor Clinic.
Private medical insurance (PMI)
We are an approved and recognised provider of care by an extensive range of PMI companies including:
- Bupa
- Aviva
- AXA
- PPP
- Cigna
- WPA
- Vitality
- Zurich
If you have access to private medical insurance, either personally or through your workplace, your policy may require you to obtain a GP referral before undergoing treatment, and you will be requested to provide your insurance policy details at the time of booking the initial consultation, so that pre-authorisation may be agreed with the insurance provider.
In addition, different policies cover different levels of care, so for any queries, it is advisable to contact your insurer, or our dedicated team on: 023 8046 4721, who will be delighted to assist you with any questions that you may have.
Employers
Many employers have an occupational health fund or cover through one of the PMI companies. It is advised that you check with your human resources or occupational health teams, to determine whether you would be covered for treatment at Manor Clinic.
We are happy to work with occupational health departments during the admission and funding process.
